Prize Draw Terms

This page has two parts:

• General Prize Draw Terms — standing terms that apply to every prize draw run by the Craigieburn Basin Restoration Trust, unless a Specific Conditions section says otherwise.

• Specific Conditions — a short section added for each individual promotion, stating what's different about that draw (the prize, the entry period, and the draw date).

Always read the Specific Conditions for the promotion you entered together with the General Terms below.

General Prize Draw Terms

1. Promoter Prize draws on this website are conducted by the Craigieburn Basin Restoration Trust ("the Promoter"), admin@craigieburntrust.co.nz.

2. No additional cost to enter Unless a Specific Conditions section states otherwise, no additional payment, purchase, like, share, tag or follow is required to enter a prize draw beyond what is stated in that draw's Specific Conditions. Prize draws tied to Feel the Burn race entries carry no cost beyond the normal race entry fee.

3. Eligibility Open to all entrants who meet the eligibility stated in the Specific Conditions for that draw, of any age. Where a winner is under 18, the prize will be issued in the name of, and claimed by, a parent or legal guardian on the entrant's behalf. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Promoter, and of any organisation providing the prize, who are involved in administering that promotion are not eligible to win.

4. The prize

• Prizes are as described in the Specific Conditions for that draw and will not be changed once the promotion has commenced.

• Unless stated otherwise, prizes do not include travel, meals, or other costs beyond what is specifically listed.

• Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable, and there is no cash alternative, unless the Specific Conditions state otherwise.

• Prizes involving accommodation or activities are subject to availability and must be taken by mutual agreement with the prize provider within the timeframe stated in the Specific Conditions.

• Winners will not be required to pay any cost additional to their original entry to claim or take up a prize.

5. The draw Winners are selected by random draw from all eligible entries received by the closing time stated in the Specific Conditions. The draw date, location, and supervising person or role are stated in the Specific Conditions.

6. Winner notification Winners are notified using the contact details provided at entry, by the method and within the timeframe stated in the Specific Conditions. A winner's first name and general region (e.g. "Sarah, Christchurch") may be announced publicly on the Trust's Facebook and Instagram pages, unless the winner requests otherwise.

7. Unclaimed prize / redraw If a winner cannot be contacted, or does not respond and confirm acceptance within 7 days of first attempted notification (unless the Specific Conditions state a different period), the prize may be redrawn from the remaining eligible entries, and the original winner forfeits any claim to the prize.

8. General

• Prize draws on this site are conducted as sales promotion schemes under the Gambling Act 2003 and are not run for the Promoter's commercial gain.

• Promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

• The Promoter's decision in all matters relating to a prize draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

• By entering, entrants agree to these General Terms together with the Specific Conditions of the promotion entered.

• The Promoter may update these General Terms from time to time; the version current at the entry period of a given promotion applies to that promotion.
