Craigieburn Fires
On December 5th 2024 the Craigieburn fires left a lasting mark on one of New Zealand’s most iconic alpine landscapes. This trail running event was created as a community-driven response to support recovery and raise awareness for the community restoration efforts across the Craigieburn Valley.
100% of event proceeds go toward helping restore native biodiversity, support local landowners and DOC, building long-term community resilience in the wake of the burn.

Residents, DOC, the Craigieburn Basin Working Group, skiers, hikers, runners, and everyone in between are coming together in support of the Craigieburn Valley - a place that’s given so much to so many.
